Hello, I'm Kimberly, a full-time student at Bossier Parish Community College and a Domestic Violence Advocate at Project Celebration, Inc. As the project maganger for this exhibition on empathy, I was able to connect deeply with its focus. This project allowed me to guide others through collaboration and empathy, and how important it is to connect with others who have experienced trauma or difficult situations. Combining my education with my personal experiences, I hope to help others who have been through similar situations and show them that there is always hope for a better tomorrow. With empathy and understanding, we can make a real difference in the lives of others.

Hello, I'm Maggie, a graduating student in Computer Animation. I'm passionate about art, animation, and 3D modeling, and I spend a lot of my free time drawing and playing video games while also talking to my cat. As the team leader for our augmented reality project, I learned how to incorporate 3D modeling with AR technology, and I'm proud of the work we accomplished together. Through our collaboration, we were able to overcome challenges and create a successful project. In the future, I hope to continue applying my leadership and problem-solving skills to similar projects and exploring new opportunities in the field of computer animation. During the augmented reality project, our team encountered numerous challenges which we successfully tackled through collaboration and utilizing individual strengths. One of the most gratifying aspects of the project was building connections with my peers. Although I was initially hesitant about working collaboratively, I found that sharing ideas and cooperating with others was both enjoyable and productive. However, technical difficulties presented a major challenge for us. Due to one person having access to the main file, it was difficult for everyone to incorporate their own personalities into their work. In retrospect, rotating access to the file could have been a viable solution for everyone to contribute more and enhance the leadership of the augmented reality project. Moreover, the time constraint was a significant dilemma, and we could have benefited from additional time to refine the project. Despite these obstacles, we employed problem-solving and creativity to produce a project of which I am proud to have been a part. Through this experience, I realized the importance of time management and tracking my activities to adjust my routine. I gained valuable expertise in augmented reality that I can apply to future endeavors. Moving forward, I aim to continue developing my collaboration skills and implementing effective time management practices to increase productivity in all aspects of my life. While the project posed some challenges, it was an invaluable learning opportunity, for which I am grateful.

As the lead for the photos and videos in this project, I was able to step out of my usual quiet demeanor in class and take charge of the photoshoot. It was a great opportunity for me to get to know my classmates better, and I appreciated being able to show a different side of myself. For my piece, I chose to use two different silhouettes of myself. I found that they complemented each other well and told a more complete story when placed together. I also incorporated lines and leaves to track some data, adding an extra layer of meaning to my work. Overall, I'm really happy with how my piece turned out and I'm grateful for the experience of working on this project with my classmates.
